Congratulations to my piano student, Leon Jiao, 9 years old, for winning TOP Prize of Group A for Chinese Music Award in the 2017 United States International Music Competition, held on Aug. 12-13 at Stanford University. Leon performed Night of Stars which is commissioned by J& V Foundation, newly written by Mr. Hao-Yuan Chiu.
