Silicon Valley Youth Harp Ensemble (Y.E.S.) now accepting enrollment

The Silicon Valley Youth Harp Ensemble now is accepting new enrollment.


The purpose of Silicon Valley Youth Harp Emsemble Success Program (Y.E.S.) is to provide a friendly and musically fun social environment that entices students to learn and share together. Playing in a group inspires students to continue their involvement with music. The Y.E.S. Program is designed to provide sequential and practical goals for students to develop performance skills and music appreciation.  The curriculum will also help improve technical development such as ear training, sight-reading skills, music theory and music history. This is an educational program to encourage students to strive for collaboration with one another and musical excellence.

Time: 2-4 PM on every Saturday

Rehearsal Location: West San Jose

Fees: $40 per session.  Registration fee: $10 per student / semester

*Fees that corresponds to performance events are extra and to be paid upon receipt.

Requirement: YES is a SVCAHS-sponsored ensemble not associated with any private studio. Participants must be current students of chapter members and must be recommended by their teachers. The student must also be a member of the SVCAHS. (Annual student membership is $10.) Student is required to provide his/her instrument in the rehearsal and performance.
